System didn't seem to be heating properly, I call they came out a few hours later, tech discovered faulty thermostat and controller board. Tech replace faulty part and discovered zone 1 on the controller board was bad, Tech rewired controller to use zone 3, so I would have heat. They had to order the new controller board, as the old one had other issues, the rewire couldn't fix. I wasn't left in the cold, I have heat. Tech was very through, knowledgeable and professional.

Furnace Replacement - The furnace is not working properly. It ran continuously overnight and this morning it stopped. It will no longer start up.
Technician Ricardo and Aaron performed a diagnostic analysis on a 2 zone heat pump Rheem closet system family soundboard found the zone bored causing the electric heat to stay on all the time and have to warranty the upstairs thermostat due to it not functioning in the heat pump mode need to replace air filter 2 a 16 X 25 X 4 filter other than that heat pump system operating normal now no other issues found
Technician Ricardo and Aaron performed to preventive heat checks and replaced the downstairs thermostat the upstairs equipment was an air handler all electric Rheem download effective heating components and all working up to manufacturer specs they downstairs system founding blower motor capacitor needed to be replaced customer agreed and need to also replace the 20 X 25 X 4 inch filter for the upstairs equipment other than that systems are operating normal now
Technician Ricardo performed diagnostic analysis on a Rheem upflow gas furnace found in the hallway closet the issue was the burners flame real had some debris build up causing it to never fire every time on the last burner which stendy flame sensor would not sense the flame and shut down the system once the burners were cleaned checked all the heating components just to be safe and no other issues were found system operating normal now
Technician Ricardo performed to preventive heating checks on a pain and Rheem gas furnace did have to replace the air filters tested both humidifiers all Heating & electrical components which checked just fine other than one of the humidifier filters needs to be replaced have requested a quote office should contact you soon other than that system operating just fine
Technician Ricardo performed diagnostic analysis on a Mitsubishi mini split heat pump system found the lower evaporator coil and outdoor coil needed to be water washed also need to order blower wheel for the indoor due to 3 to 4 of the blower veins breaking off other than that once everything was cleaned system heating and cooling at 50 degrees 135 degrees both the heating and cooling work fine no other issues found but need to figure out why the fan continues to run all the time
Technician Ricardo returned to replace be worn out belts and fan relays plus the heating contractors tested operation after replacement all parts working correctly no other issues found at this time systems are back up to par to manufacture specs have a good day enjoy the beautiful weather while it's around
Technician Ricardo returned to an after hours call back to find the low voltage fuse had blown out yet again went ahead and tightened up all the wiring for the low voltage from the air handler to the thermostat to the outside equipment made sure nothing was to come loose and electrical taped all ends to be much safer from shorting out amongst any of the metal cabinet of the equipment tested both the heating and cooling operation added a 5 amp resetable fuse. system operating normal now
Tech rick found the variable speed motor doing the same thing with the new board will need to order from factory will take 2-3 days also due to the motors we had @ the office were from a different manufacturer so wouldnt work but we may have one at the wharehouse that will be brought in tomorrow so maybe will be able to repair if not then order from factory will let the owner know about the Rheem motors
technician Ricardo performed 1 diagnostic analysis on unit number for rooftop found the inducer combustion motor not running due to the run capacitor being too weak and not reading any microfarads replaced the capacitor and a motor ran so did the heating just fine no other issues found at this time system is running just fine
Technician Ricardo performed one preventive heat check on a closet upflow gas furnace changed out the 20 X 25 X one filter checked for carbon monoxide leaks into the home didn't find any checked all heating and electrical components on the furnace all parts checked out normal temperature rise was normal both the blower and evaporator coils are still clean no issues found at this time system ready for a cold winter
Technician Ricardo moved the outdoor 3 ton heat pump expansion valves temperature sensor to allow the expansion valve to stop sticking in really cold freezing temperatures to attempt to fix the ongoing issue customer has had please let us know if that fixed the htpump problem
Technician Ricardo performed prepaid preventative heat check on a Lennox closet gas furnace, changed out the16x25x1 air filter can use a 16x25x4. checked for carbon monoxide leaks & didn't find any checked for any electrical or heating components that may need to be replaced everything checked just fine no issues found. extra filter left behind, recommendations replace 30x10 return grill other than that system is ready for the cold winter
Technician Ricardo and Antonio returned to the crawl space under the home to support the metal duct that had broken going to her son's bedroom reached & strapped every two feet to the 2 X 6 wood and screwed back together the broken metal duct airsealed connection and re insulation w/ existing insulation did notice the bottom right side of the home facing from the front was wet underneath crawlspace didn't see anything from the plumbing someone's water is draining under the house fyi
Technician Ricardo performed to preventive system checks checked both the heating and cooling for both the upstairs and downstairs fan coil r22 systems found the downstairs systems evaporator coil leaking refrigerant added one pound of r22 with super sealant replaced be downstairs indoor blower capacitor and water washed the outdoor units double checked the train lines they are clear no other issues found with the heat or cool does need to get a quote on air sealing downstairs supply plenum
